Good afternoon Gents,

Ive just bought some new headlights and in the nissan manual it says its really simple to fit them, but it really isn't!!

I just wondered if you guys had any tips on how to do it.

Cheers

...unscrew the bulb holder from the back of the headlight, pull the old bulb out - push the new bulb in. screw bulb holder back in. job done.

You make it sound so simple, but its really hard to get in to the back where you take the bulb out.

Your washer tank can be removed by simply pulling it out.Thise gives you a lot more room on the nearside light.

bulb fit

the drivers side is sometimes obstructed by the antifreeze top up bottle, this should lift out of its bracket as its just held in place with a tube connected (but no need to disconnect tube, then and on the passanger side your only problem should be the battery which may need moving/removing!

hope to be of some help. its like that on my '96 1.4 anyway,
cannot comment on GTI!?
