This Gti i`m going to look at this afternoon runs out of MOT in sept ... After having a read of the site, i`m expecting an Epic fail on emmisions ... !!


Is there anything i can check when looking round the car that may indicate a problem with emmisions .. or is it just gonna be a case of get it wait for MOT day and hope for the best ?

Is it modified? Mine passed fine with no precat, and with a 4-2-1 manifold, 2.5" downpipe and 2.25" cat back. Tashas standard one with 200,000 miles on it passes emissions every year.
