Harness adapter for n16

ive removed the original car cassette player and bought the correct harness wire from halfords . but when i connect it all up there is one plug (which i think is for the power) dosent fit anywhere . i went back to halfords and they didnt know why it diddnt work . I have no idea what to do now as ive got the new cd player and even fitted the fascia.

Any help will be appreciated.
 
the harness should have a white block one end which conects to the cars wiring loom then an iso block the other letting u connect the brown and black connectors from ur head unit if u dont u got wrong cable
 
Do you have steering wheel controls?

They use a seperate block connector which is not on the harness adaptor - and AFAIK you can't buy an adaptor for those on a N16.

Should work without connecting it but you won't have use of your steering wheel controls.
 
have you connected the ariel? its the little prong shaped plug.

if thats not connected properly it may not work, k11 micra's are the same as the ariel doubles as the earth
