hi all, i am currently climbing the mountain that is trying to tune my phase 1 gti, the next job i am on with will be a port, polish and skim. I am going to change the cam chain even though she has only done 80K. Does anyone know the OFFICIAL time it should be changed?

Should last throughout the life of the engine. That's the advantage of having a chain opposed to a belt.
