Headlight replacement

Hi all, I've got my MOT looming and my drivers side headlight is aiming a lot lower than the passenger side, I'm going to try and adjust it but pretty sure this was done before by the mechanic I go to so may well need a new headlight, has anyone replaced one? if so is it fairly easy to do? what's involved? cheers in advance :-D

Couple of things to check before getting a new headlight:
- Check that the height adjustment works on both sides from the cabin switch (to make sure the drivers side is not jammed)
- There are two adjustment screws on the back of the headlight, one for up-down and on for sideways adjustment (see pic)

The light pattern is probably mirrored when comparing to the picture if you live in the UK. Check that the headlight is tightly secured to the chassis. (no broken bolts or clips)

Thank

Thanks I really appreciate the reply :-) they both go up and down when I adjust it's just the drivers side one sits lower by a fair bit, I'm going to have a play with the adjuster though and see if that helps
