Headunit/Earth Problem

Danm headunit started to play a little game called "im gna switch myself off and back on again all the time for the pure fuck of it".

Basically it seems to happen when it needs to draw a lot of power (ie when the volume is turned up or when a song comes on with a lot of bass/etc).

Im sure its not the battery or the alternator as the rest of the car electrics are perfectly fine.

So I was thinking id need to check that the earth-point is good for the stereo - but where can I find the earth point (For the hu?)?

And theres also the possibility the HU is fubard.

I used the easiest earth in the world on my old one and ran a cable straight to the negative on the battery.

now i am back to normal headunits again it seems to work the earth off the ariel but i have also kept the other earth connected to the battery so it cant go wrong!
