Headunit trouble

Right, when i got my car it had a Sony Xplod headunit in it (tape player, oh yeah). As a result i bought a Panasonic headunit a few days ago to replace the dated sony.

Now then, when wiring the headunit in i noticed the Panasonic came with a headunit to ISO adaptor, which was of course used, whereas the Sony had an ISO connection already at the back of the headunit.

The Panasonic works fine, except when you take the key out of the ignition it resets itself, like it's lost the connection with the battery.

I've checked the connections over and over to no avail and i'm stumped.

Ideas?

with the conecting wires on the back of the stereo, you'l see a couple of wires a yellow and red, these both are spade conected with rubber sleves.
just swap them around instead of red to red go yellow to red etc, when the stereo is out all will come clear.

change the yellow with red or vise versa
