Heater not working

Hello I own a 2003 almera 1.5 SE. The heater blower stopped working today. Ive checked the fuse near the drivers door. Ive wired the blower to a battery and it works fine. The blower wont work on any speed setting when done via the heater control unit on the dashboard. Any help, advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
 
not sure if this model has a resistor card, as my n15 has, if it does then its most likely to be that, on the n15 its under the glovebox approw size of a credit card with a brown plug if memory serves
 
Not sure if it's the same on all cars but if it works on full then generally it'll be the resistor card,had it last winter on the skoda-just had fan setting 3 and four,then 3 gave up...now position motor has gone haywire too....gotta love VAG and their dodgy electrics!
