Heater only blowing hot air

I have got a 1.8 sport + W reg and my heater only blows out hot air even when i put the air con on, can anyone help?
 
I've seen this problem on Citroens as well (mainly cos i work with citroens) i'm not saying this WILL be the problem, as i'm sure one of the site's Techs will correct me but it's either a resistor within the motor or it's the control switch on the dash - 9 times out of 10 it's the resistor that's fecked.

This is just an educated guess btw :P
 
It was a unclipped cable, problem sorted now, thanks alot for helping me out, much appreciated.
 
Yeah i Paied £41:13 for a similar problem the other day. it was a sensor that was unpluged :( glad you fixed it any way :)
 
We have the exactly problem with our 2001 Sport+, where abouts is the cable that was unclipped/loose?

After getting the dash apart (which was fun when your winging it). All the connectors feel tight, I didn't take the controller panel out of the dash as getting the cable off for the air direction dial might be a sod to get back on. Everything feels tight. Any other ideas?

Resistor?

Am experiencing the fan speed selection problem only works on full,
if it is the resistor.
where is it?
and is it easy to fix?

it's not a resistor as you'd know it, its the "heater card". You can buy another from Nissan or just have them do it.
