Hello guys,
I haven't been on here for awhile....used tobe called 'sunont'.
The forum has changed a bit....
I've got a question to ask those who know.....
ANYBODY HAVE/HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEIR DOWNPIPE/FRONT PIPE FLEX-PIPE JOINT?
The car's a N15 GTI 99'T' reg.It's flexi-pipe/joint that's the problem.It's blowing a bit probably due to age and the meshing is frayed.
Anybody know the price of replacement or any tips?
I've been told by a guy it costs around 370 pounds from Nissan.This is for the whole front section including the front CAT.Is that a good price?
As the car is in Essex,is there anybody from around there that can help?

You'll be able to buy the downpipe separately from a motor factors. It has a pre cat inside so might set you back £70 or so.

If you cant find an almera one or the garage tries bullshitting you with the 'it's a GTi model so the downpipe is custom made', the primera GT one fits and just needs a bolt to bung up a sensor hole.
