Hi all,
Joined up as I might be getting this car today.
My mate is the area manager for Wessex garages in South Wales and told me about it, itseems fairly low milage compared to other vehicles i've seen in the same price bracket.

I've just passed my training and I'm due to start as a driving instructor in 2 weeks!

Is there anything I need to look out for when going to look at it, I know the petrol 1.5 stretches the cam chains but does the 2.2 Di suffer the same thing or has it other faults common with this model ?

Couldnt find the car you're talking about on Wessex Garages site, probably cause you've bought it already?! :D

Known faults of the Di are the diesel pump going. Not sure about the timing chain but like you say it seems to be more of a problem on the 1.5.

Not got it yet, going down to take a look in a mo, here is the car in question:

Not sure about the pump but my mate said it was down in Wessex a week ago. It had a problem with hard starting and needed a new suction sommit or another fitted to it to fix it ??
