Hello all, got a few Tino issues: ATF, mirror button, speaker squeal, judder!

Hello all, am new to the Almera Tino, would appreciate any tips.

(Almera Tino 1.8 SE Auto 2004)

1. Is it best to use Dexron 3 or 2 in a 1.8 autobox or should I strictly stick with Nissan's own?

2. No handbook and I can't find the door mirrors remote buttons! Previous owner said on phone "down on your left" but I can't see them. All I see is some buttons on the steering wheel which don't do anything, and the console buttons under the screen. Where should I look, I just can't see them anywhere. Not on the window ledge either, just the window buttons and lock buttons there.

3. Seller told me radio/CD very quiet, when volume turned up nothing much happens except a high pitched noise (not feedback but more like the high pitched noise used in those Mosquito noise deterrent devices, plus static sounds. That comes through the front o/s/r pillar speaker even with the radio off! Can be distracting. Seller told me the radio is quiet/broken but didn't tell me about that, I find it a bit distracting when it suddenly comes on and stays on, sometimes a bump in the road turns it on or off (loose wire short behind the trim?)

4. Didn't test drive at speed as it was a village, but once on the motorway discovered significant judder to the steering wheel north of 50-55mph. Took it to wheel balance place, they said 65g out on one wheel (o/s/f) and 10g on the other front. That's helped, judder now starts a bit later at 65mph. Worth having the rear wheels done too or is it likely to be another cause?

I know it's a lot of questions, if I don't hear back I'll post in the relevant forum sections, just wanted to say hello as a new poster at the same time.

Many thanks,
L

Thank you Corbs, much appreciate that tip. For a tenner or so it's got to be worth it, but very busy place where I had the front 2 done & said not to bother with the back unless problem persists - I suppose they're that busy there that's why they said just do the front 2.

Found the mirror button - for anyone else who might need to know:
Above accelerator pedal panel on your right and to the right of the headlamp level wheel - the L and R (I thought it was parking light switch) - with key in ignition at first position, turn to L for left mirror or R for right mirror, and use the button in a similar way to the cursor button on a laptop, move it around to move the mirror around electrically. Return it to middle position afterwards. Takes a bit of getting used to.

For the ATF, all I can find in manuals is:
" Contact a Nissan dealership for more information regarding suitable fluids, including recommended brand(s) of DexronTMIII/MerconTM
Automatic Transmission Fluid."
This doesn't tell me if that advice is defintely for the 1.8 autobox or 2.0 CVT or both.
