Hi ppl newbie here... :)

I currently own a N15 98 GTI and have to say its the most reliable thing i've ever owned soo far..

Here's some pics of it, sorry i havent got any complete pictures yet, will have them up soon, i have had the car fully sprayed in Metal flake including having the boot flushed of and door locks removed, Enjoy!!!!! ;)

Thanks M8, I defenetly need to get some complete pics up of the car, will do so over the weekend seen as its nice n sunny here in london :), it will look completely different when the bumpers and Lenzo alloys are on ;)
 
Just noticed on your profile your only 18, that must cost you a nice little sum on insurance or are you getting your parents to insure it for you?

i just noticed that too and i noticed he lives in london so its not going to be cheap.
Jonnyboy88 is paying 1500 on his dads name and he has a N16 2.2dCi
 
Yeah my insurance company laughed at me when i asked them for a quote on a GTi. The cheapest quote i could get in my dads name was £4000 even with pass plus.

Why is it that an insurance company would quote me for a group 10 Almera, but wouldnt for a group 7 Seat Ibiza? Doesnt make any sense!
 
insurance is a killer... i have a motor trade policy that costs me 720 a year but lets me use any car or bike but will only pay 5 grand if its pinched.

btw that paint is mean!!! much better than the lime green one ive just bought!!!
 
talking about insurance...my first car was a almera and i had 2 pay just under £2000 last year for my insurance on a 1.4 si almera 1996 model... took the p**s but i paid it because i loved the car.. was my first u see.. without any mods.. well i stuck some alloys and a nice exhaust on it but didnt declare it.. but on my second almera i only pay £750 fully comp.. with 2years ncb even tho iv only been drivin a year.. sorry 2 hijack... but insurance annoys me sooo much....
