Hello :)
Mmm what to type?! Well my name is Matt, but most people call me Boc which is short for Bocker (long story :P ), just hit my 30's :(
I have just managed to get a long time friend of mine to sell me his aging almera GTI for a song after he brought a S2000 on top of his atom and colt, so he had no more room on his drive. I used the car about a year ago and loved it, just knew it had to be mine :D I have been a Golf gti man for the last few years Mk1 Mk2 and Mk3 but after driving around in the Almera well that was that
This Almera is going to be a bit of a project car for me but nothing to crazy as I am a poor plasterer :D The car is a little run down on some of the parts i.e suspension is a bit soft, front pipe has had it (ordered custom exhaust today :) ), and the bodykit has seen better days nothing major just a bit tired looking. The car has now done 100,000 but has been serviced with out fail and was main dealer up till 80,000 and the engine runs sweet. For the money I paid I am a happy chappy :)

Anyway I'll stop babbling on as i have a couple of question to ask but I will try and post them in the right place :P

:welcome: to the club Matt.

Being an ex plumber I can confidently say there aint no such thing as a poor plasterer ;)

If you want lots of great advice and tips for your project, cough up the £15 membership fee - its well worth it.

Was about to say that  All them 2pm finishes are catching up ;)

Welcome, always good to get someone woho has been dedicated to a different car for such along tme, then comes across the Almera.

im a spark, and im always broke as well..the plasteres turned up at a job yesterday at about 9, and were gone by 2 30! cheeky boys you lot...

anyway, welcome to you mate, mines on 108000 and runs sweet as a nut, full service history, 1 family owner before me, if theyve been looked after you wont find a better car!

Thanks for the warm welcome :)

Plasterers finishing at 2pm, thats cause we have to work extra fast with no breaks before the muck goes off. So we condense a 10 hour day in to 5 hours, honest ;) :D This is my first year out on my own so its a little tight atm until i get my name about, but I'll get there :)

Just got a pm about my membership and it all paid up so I guess i better get reading lol

Cheers again for the welcome

I cut my car teeth on Golfs, still have a hankering to get a track day Mk 1 to relive my racing youth :D Guess I'll have to follow Rowdy's footsteps . . .
