Hello all

Hi all,

I have had a my nissan almera for about a year now, lovely car!

However as of last week for some unknown reason the electric windows stopped working. I have checked the fuses in the engine bay and under the steering wheel. Fuses are fine.

Normally i would take the car to an auto electrician, but was recently made redundant so that is now out of the question. To make matters worse the car is the only mode of transport for me my wife and our small child. With the windows no longer working this is almost making the car unbearable for me and the family. The car is baking constantly, the wife is now having to resort to pushing our we one around in a pram:(

At first i thought window motors but the chances of both burning out at the same time are slim to none i imagine? could something have come loose. I also cant see how to remove the door cards or where the screws are located, can anyone helpm thier?

If anyone could get back to me with with any ideas on how to rectify this we would be really greatful.

The car is an 2001 Y reg 3 door hatchback 1. 4 ltr.
