Hi i just bought a 1996 gti and was wondering if someone could help me with a speaker problem.

The speakers in the back are both broken and i was wondering what size they are? i have taken one out but i dont have a tape measure to check it. i was going to order some new ones on the net tonight but need the size if any of you could help, i was guessing 6 or 6.5 inch???

Thanks for the reply. i have the speaker here and it looks more than 6 inches. did you change the rear speakers in your old car? can you recomend any speakers?
