Hi there, well we are the family Nissan as we have a 2001 Almera Elegance 1.8. a 1997 1.6 SRi (belongs to my Dad who is nearly 83, wasted or what!) and my car is a 52 plate Primera T Spec.
I have had Nissans for many years and love them to bits although my T Spec is in the dog house as the sat nav has broken and the dealership are taking ages to get the replacement in. However it is being mended at their expense so can't complain too much - £2,000 - ouch!
My partner now owns my Almera Elegance, it is a fab car and has served us well for the last 3 years and still only has about 40,000 on the clock. Barely run in.
Having ground clearance issues with my Primera due to our sloping drive so I don't see me keeping it overly long as it is a pain having to chuck my elderly parents out of the car at the top of the drive as I can only back it in solo or else we ground out. Not much liking what I am reading about the newer Nissans lately so whilst an X trail and Qashqai are tempting I have to say I may be defecting to Honda or Toyota next time. Loathe Renaults, worst thing Nissan did although I know they had no choice due to financial issues.
However, enough of me rambling and I look forward to enjoying the forums.
