HELP needed urgently!!

Hi all was driving down the a19 yesterday and engine blew up, there is a whole the size of my fist in the engine block so i need a new engine. Could anyone in newcastle help me find a new engine ive looked but there hard to find.

absolutely gutted i love the car and dont want to have to scrap it. :mad:

you`ll find most of those are older engine or seriously powerful.

Did the oil run low?.....thats the main culprit.
 
its got nearly 50,000 more miles on it though, the engine that blew had 60,000 on the clock so i want to keep to an engine more on same mileage. cheers though

Milage on these egine aint that imnportant if its been looked after it shouyld be ok if your egine had only 60k on it! And it did that then i guess its not been looked after!
 
ive not long had the car and did a full service on it when i bought it, the old owner must have just neglected it. Aye everyone ive spoken to say if looked after these engines are just about bullet proof.

Thanks for all the advise lads ive just bought a new engine from a v reg gti getting it fitted next week ill let you all know how its goes and ill get some pics finally up.

Also ill finally get a membership ive been meaning to do it for ages! heh
