Help Required

Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum and i have a problem that i hope someone could help me.
I have a 1996 GTI Almera and have changed the battery in my key fob and noe it does not work.The leds flash but that is about it.I have been told i have to reprograme the fob and i am asking for any help to do this.

cant remember how many times i've explained this!

Do this either stood next to or sat in your car.

hold down both buttons until the LED stays solid (i.e. stops flashing) Then press and hold the red button untill the car lock/unlocks. That should get the code back. If not, you may have to go to nissan.
