Help with final part of removing headlight.

Thought this wouldn't be too hard.

Took off the grille, indicator, wiring for sidelights, now i can't get the main wiring for the actual headlight out- the bit that says 'PUSH'.

I've tried for a while but still no success. Any advice?

Yeah- that's the one!

I managed to take it off- i broke the connectors when trying to put it back on though! :(

New bulb it is then! Should've really done this earlier- BEFORE it got dark! :O

happend on my old N15 was a bitch so I put a screw driver to it and levered it out. not covered away and corrison has got to it WD40 might of worked ?

I have a bolt and a washer left over after putting every thing back in place. The bolt had a 4 on it.

Not sure where it's from!

why did you take the light out to change the bulb? can do it with the light in place, plenty of room behind them on the n15.

As I said- i broke the connectors on the bulb WHILST removing the headlight. I was replacing the headlight NOT the bulb! I'm sure it's all up there somewhere---^ ;)

It annoys me how the connectors melt, even the new ones you buy from nissan now which have much thicker wiring on them from the tiny stuff on the loom.

Has the connection got hot or shown signs of melting as that probably why you couldnt push the tags in, then slide the connector off easily ... maybe :P

if you actually push the sides (squeeze the rubber bung) in rather than the center it unclips and comes off easy :)

Quicky

thats how theyre supposed to come off, thats why there are holes on the spades of the bulbs, they lock with the connector
