Hey all,
I have a 1.4 N15 Phase 1, and I want to get some lowering springs soon.
However, many websites show the springs for a P1 and a P2 as different proucts.
My understanding was that the chassis of the two (P1 & P2) are identical it's just the cosmetic parts (bumpers, lights, interior) which make the difference.
This technicality wouln't bother me if it wasn't for the fact that the springs for the P2 usually go around 5mm lower than the ones quoted for being for the P1. And I want it lowered 40mm rather than 35mm.
Maybe the shocks on the P2 are uprated or the suspension components are different to allow for the greater lowering, I don't know.
If you could shed some light on whether it matters if I buy springs designed for the P2, I would muchly and highly be in your debt.
Cheers!
