Help with the right part please

Hi all,

Turns out the abs light issue I'm having causing the MOT fail is the front right wheel speed sensor according to the garage.

They've told me Nissan want £270odd for the part so I need to source one elsewhere.

Are these the same part or is abs and wheel sensor different? Sorry if I'm asking a stupid question.

Yep, that's them. Common fault, rust in the housings expands and crushes them.

Thanks for the reply, think I've found a new one for a good price so should be sorted soon!

Just make sure you or your mechanic push the connector all the way in, I think it clicks twice. My mechanic only pushed it to one click. Cue much head-scratching until I asked if he was SURE he'd plugged it in..

Will do! Sensor arrived today so dropped it off with the garage. Should be through the mot soon I hope. Cheers again
