i need some advice on my nissan almera gti. i have the standerd alarm that came with the car, but now my alarm just wont stop going off i have tried a new battery in the alarm, but still no luck. I have got the noise to stop but the indiceters are still flashing. CAN SOME 1 GIVE ME SOME ADVICE PLEASE? :P

Hi and welcome :-) ,

"I have tried a new battery in the alarm" i take it you mean the KeyFob? if so i think you have to press and hold the blue button and then press the red one for it to be come active.

Have you tried disconnecting then reconnecting the Car battery? if you do you will have to do the above to get the keyfob active as well , i think.

What happens when you unlock the driver door with the key?

my NATS unit fucked up, same probs as above, wouldnt open, put new batterys in, still not work, retaught it, still not working, opened it with the key and the alarm went off and wouldnt go off at all, and I had to get a new one, luckly for me though I managed to get a new one for nowt off some bird I was shagging (her uncle had a few lying around as he tested all that kind of shit before they were used on the cars)
was about 7 years ago now though

Alarm control unit all the way, £101 + vat from Nissan
You can disconnect the unit and this will stop the indicators from flashing as well.

Under the handbrake console irc, should be a screw to turn the sensitivity up or down, the airbag control units the only other thing under there i think.

sorry matey just got your pm. Glad youv'e got the control unit from me bro. I thaught it was under handbrake or behind glovebox sorry i forgot to reply to your pm to confirm. Enjoy :P
