iv just changed the clutch on my N15 almera sri rebuilt the car and then gone 2 start it and it wont start. i have spart on all 4 plugs and i have fuel but it wont start!
What the else can i do????
 
Check all earths and leads are reconnected that you took off when you removed you box mate, that's the first thing to look for.
And obviouly all sensors etc

I've known cars not to run at all with just one earth lead not connected to the chassis
 
right im going to be 'Captain state the bloody obvious' now but only because i had a problem awhile back starting my n15 SRi and i felt like a right plank when i realised wat the problem was..
The car had been sat for awhile (because i had just got my gti) i jumped in and stuck the key in the ignition turned it and nothing! after checking the plugs, fuelling battery etc still nothing. the problem stopped when i turned the ignition on..waited afew seconds (abit like you would with a deisel) then started the engine.
felt like quite the fool :O
 
do you have nats ???

is the little yellow light on the dash flashing ? if it is and you have nats the imobiliser has come on and you need to get the key and ecu reprogramed i had it happen to me after i had batt disconected for a few hours one day

and i didnt notice it was flashing

If I was your car, and could read the way you type, then i wouldn't want to start either.. :roll:

I had a similar problem, and it was a fuse, definitely worth checking all of them, along with the earth straps.
 
Sounds electrical at a guess.
Had this on my 306, all it was; id sumhow covered one of the main earths to the gearbox in crap and grease, cleaned it off started 1st time :D
