Hey all, under a lot af advice and imput from members from the AOC i ended up buying an R reg slx. its done 77k and has an mot until august. i got it for £1600 which i dont thinks to bad. It needs a few little things doing like a new fan belt and a service but i can do those my self. the first thing i did was install my cd player, sub and amp. the boost alot smaller than my previeous car(laguna :( ) so it looks a bit messy

Looks nice and clean, but you definately need a rear roof lip spoiler! Incidentally, I have one for sale....
 
lol, had a bit of a quiet day so ended up cleaning the car which lead to looking like a car pedo :(
the amps the GTO1100 watt, it was the cheapest way of powering the sub and the easiest:)

not a bad looking amp, thought it was one of those very expensive competition amps are first glance! so.. what else you got planned for the car then!?
 
dunno what im gonna do yet, just ordered the k&n induction kit.eventually i want to replace the exhaust system for a full stainless steel jobby. i do want a spoiler, but just a standard almera one. ive bought some infinity 6x9's that are gonna go in the parcel shelf. i want to replace the original clarion speakers cos there not to special at a high volume. Other than that i dont really know :( please give me some ideas,

The amp was very expensive for the original owner, but he sold his car with the amp and sub (in a yellow box!!!) my friend bought it didnt know what they were worth and i bought the set for £50. i stuck the 12" sub in a 10" box with a little help from my jigsaw cos it fitted better in the boot :D
