Hey very new to the almera scene...found myself buying one after i sold my old ep82 starlet a while ago. Wondering what kinda things are available modifications wise...Think ill be heading down the engine mod line so if anyone knows of any easy to get descent starter areas then let me know.

Bought a 1.8se 54 plate for just over 3k dunno if thats a descent deal, got the guy down from just above 4k though so was fairly happy with the outcome. Will get some pics up, in great condition, no marks, scratches, only 19k on the clock some oldish lady had it before me.

May end up going full kit/respray as done it on 2 different starlets but would like to start with the engine this time and see what kind of power i can get from it. Seems nippy but drinks through the fuel around town...is that common ?

Anyway nice to be on here and hopefully get started very soon :D
 
Hi there, yeah we used to have a QG18 and it did drink a fair bit. There is a growing number of N16 owners like yourself on here so I think the maret for parts is beginning to expand a little.
 
Welcome to the site damo, yeah my 1.8 was a terror for the petrol but always put a smile on my face! Get some pics up in the members rides section.

There are a good few things available on the handling side, engine wise is more limited but Tallpaul is forever introducing new products to us (N16 owners) from his endless searching of the US & Aussie markets.
