Hey guys and gals!

I registered a while back but today is the first time I could actually access the website, before it says access denied non stop :lol:

I'm a member on the SR20Forum.com and go by the same alias as on this forum :D

I drive a 1999 Nissan Sentra SE-L, you can find pictures and mods on this page.

My main reason here today... To ask couple questions about one of the amazing looking GTi grills :D

First I will mention, fantastic idea on this thread and a lot of useful info! :D

Ok down to business... this grill:

How rare is it and how hard are they to come about? How much do they usually cost? :D

Now I noticed you guys also have the Lucino grill :D

Is the JDM GTi grill similar size to the Lucino one? Do they both fit on an Almera, or does the Lucino require modifications?

Why do I ask? Well I want that JDM GTi grill, and I'm afraid it wont fit my Sentra... but if it's the same size as the Lucino one then it should have no problems fitting (plenty of people own the Lucino grill here in the states).

Oh and we, US Nissan owners, are jealous of your cars and how many different options you guys have :)
 
Hi there! In general, all the almera/pulsar grilles are easily interchangeable. They are available from quite a few people on here, but I think member 'shiny blue' may be a bit closer to you (Fom Australia so the package doesnt have to go all the way around the world).
The only problem that I can foresee is that the lucino grilles may be variations on the same type of grilles, as a few people over here have sentra grilles but have to fit the sentra lights too, as they are different fitment to the pulsar lights. Might be a good excuse to get pulsar headlights though :)

Thanks for the reply man! :D

Someone would actually want our Sentra grills? :lol:... but its always nice to have what the majority doesn't have, so thats probably why :)

Oh if thats the case most likely they wont fit :(

If I get your guy's headlights, then I need the corners and the hood and the fenders.... so its a big big step lol. Plus I got the JDM styled black housing Sentra headlights, which cost me a pretty penny as is :lol:

Those are the sentra lights and grille I was talking about. The owner ordered sentra indicators too but they didnt fit the wings, presumably though you would be able to use almera headlights and grille with sentra indicators?
This means you wouldn't have to change the fenders.
 
Interesting :)

I might just do the the grill kinda like that, but our hoods don't close down like that, they are even. So it kinda looks like something is missing :(

You guys are lucky to have Skylines btw ;)

Thats not too bad! Freaking sweet looking I tell ya! ;)

But yeah, doesn't seem like it will fit on my car without headlight change :(
