Just bought my 1st almera gti. had a few nissan 200 sx turbos, so when i was told by the wife to get a non turbo i thought i would give an almera a go.

I have not driven it a great deal yet but i am very impressed!!

Its a p reg so not sure what number it is. n16??

on a P reg, cant see it, 1998 turned P2..can tell from the aeriel position, rear lights (bubbled P2, flat P1,) etc etc..bodykit if any..
 
hows it going mate, welcome along to the forums, its definately an n15 as they never made an n16 gti, get some pics up soon!
 
Ello matey!

Welcome - so how did you find the transition from the Turbo to Non turbo?!

I had a montego turbo - I really miss the torque and the sudden acceleration
especially in the 2nd and 3rd gears.

The almera handles very well and if the power is used upto the redline can be a very good runner! ;)
 
yeah i miss the 300 bhp but i do enjoy driving this as its great on corners.
