My names Jonny and ive just passed my driving test in my 1998 Nissan Almera 1.4 :lol:

Its standard except for the GTi alloys and the rear spoiler (i glued it on!). And its got a Pioneer CD/MP3 player instead of the crappy cassette. I got it off my dad, and he loves it so he aint so happy about the way i drive it lol.

Anyway just wanted to say hi to everyone.

Im thinking about gettin a GTi, but being 17 no one will insure me, and my dad dont have a no claims bonus! Any1 got any ideas on how i can get cheap insurance?

Im also lookin at gettin an N16 dci 136. Is it any good?
 
for a Gti, 17 i dont know 18 is def possiable as i did it last year paid 1100 for 10months with admiral. only gone down to 1000 this year though.
 
you should get insurance on n16 dci! my insurance at 19 on the 2.2 DI was 640 and when i ran a quote on the DCI came up the same price! i think there both ony group 6 insurance!

pretty nippy aswell for a diesel!
 
Hmmm admiral quoted £6000 to insure me on a GTi, which is weird cos they only wanted £200 more to insure me on a 350Z. But i did get a quote for £1100 on a diesel so looks like i might have to go for that.
