hi all new to this, just wondered what you think to my gti

hi all, i have been a member for a while just could,nt work out how to put a piccie of my baby on what do you think. also a bit of advice is needed i am getting a bit of noise from the drivers side front, it is like a pinging and cracking noise ,sounds like it is coming from the top of the suspension , any one got any ideas what it could be. im also in need of a rear drivers side caliper if anyone can help. you all have some top notch cars looking good. i have just bought a new bumper off ebay and is in the process of being sprayed i have put a piccie of it on , ill put one on when it gets fitted to see what you all think. nice to meet you all does any one have any idea what the piggyback chips on ebay are like , are they any good or a load of bollocks
 
very nice mate, those wheels are nice im sure i have seen similar on a meera on here....look very bling :D :cool:, have you moved your arial from the drivers door to the rear? i have an R reg sri and its on the door....maybe this is a GTi and SRi difference :rolleyes:

try a local scrappie? i got a front caliper for mine for £25...
 
nice! i was lookin at those wheels for my sri DOH! some1 got there first lol which ebay were u searchin on to find that bumper?????????????
 
i dig the bumper how much it cost i could be tempted :D nice colour to ya gotta love black,im pretty sure my girlfreind has family in malton,is it just outside york :rolleyes:

hi mate nice car, i still have an ariel above door i fitted this one myself got it off ebay for a tenner, tried all scrappers around here they never have a gti in or someone always seems to get to the bits i want before me, any ideas about the noise on my car
 
Good choice on the rims, looked at those myself but decided against them for my N16, looks like the dogs wedding tackle on the GTI though, especially with the contrast in colour! When I'm out Malton way next will keep an eye out for it.

hi, captain , go on to ebay and type in almera and then go to bottom of page and click on view all items it then brings up a couple of hundred things for almera , thats where i got the bumper from, only thing is most of it is in foreign but you can tell what it is by pictures , nice talking to ya

hi, mate , payed 180 quid for bumper , he has rear bumpers and skirt , was,nt very keen on back bumper though looked a bit square, malton is just between york and scarboro nice town if you are 200 years old and have a purple rinse
 
hi mate the pinging noise will almost certainly be your front strut top bearings? Just have to find out wich side or replace both!

cheers mate, are they hard to do , and do you know where i can get them from, prefer not to go direct to nissan, bit steep with there prices , my brother in law works for them but he is a gimp and never gets any cheap bits :cool:

any of you guys know where I can get GTI Bumpers front and back in red for my almera
