Hi All - Newbie to this site!

Hi I'm Chris i live in Holbeach near Spalding, Lincolnshire.... formerly of Hull.

Just purchased my second Almera GTi yesterday .... I was a proud owner of one back in 1997 and bought it brand new for just under £16000 .... i loved the car and have been waiting ages to get hold of another.... unfortunately due to having kids and poor paid jobs couldnt until now :)
I hope my original GTi is still on the go R477GAT was the reg! So if anyone has that let me know!

I've now got a 99 T GTi and it is just as good as i remember ... i believe i got it at a fair price as it is a one previous owner full nissan FSH T&T'd and everything works for £1000 ... 93000 on the clock....
No mods done to it either which is good ... but means more work for me :D
Only downside is the guy before me had a full new exhaust put in but the backbox is like a pea shooter so thats gotta go ...

Anyway its nice to see the mera has a good following!

Cheers guys

Welcome Chris, looks like a good example you got yourself there ;)

My heart missed a beat then thinking I was responsible for the demise of your pride and joy!
But a couple of numbers off it seems, this was a spare care I bought for parts:

Welcome (Back) to almera ownership! Nice to have an original owner on here! Its a shame my SRi died really as my stepmum had owned it since new also.

Thanks for the welcome guys!! :)
And Corbs dont worry man i had to chuckle when i saw those pics u posted!!!
Usually most GAT cars are in scrap yards as they're registered originally in Hull :D

I do have a question though ... what fitting wheels are the alloys for the GTi ?? for example are they the same fitting as the Rover 200 or Honda Civic etc ??? i dont know?
Cheers

welcome mate, heres some specs on the cars you said

Make - Honda Model - Civic >00 Year - 84 to 00 PCD - 4x100 Offset - 35 to 45 Bore - 56.1
Make - Rover Model - 200 Year - 90 to 99 PCD - 4x100 Offset - 35 to 45 Bore - 56.1

and heres the almera

Make - Nissan Model - Almera >99 Year - >99 PCD - 4x100 Offset - 35 to 45 Bore - 66.1

diffrent bore sizes as i can tell

I can only dream of the day i get to purchase a standard GTi, would be well happy with this one if i were you.

As for wheels I went for the suzuki GSR 15 inch 5 spoke. Same PCD and offset as above just needed boring.

Comments (good/bad) welcome.
