Hi all...Sorry more questions.....In desperation due to a void of Almera 136 diesels up here, I am going to test drive an Almera/2006/1.8/16v,SXE/ 116bhp/ 1 owner...looks lovely in black and should pull my small caravan nicely. I know this engine has no turbo, but due to the 16 valves, can I assume that it is a twin cam motor. Also, what are the common problems with this model? Thanks in anticipation
 
Twin Cam motor. Same as all problems on petrol N16's. Check for a good service history, whos selling it and why etc.

Easy fix= Engage Brain.Eyes-look, Test Drive-Listen and Feel, Buy, Negotiate or Work Away. :)
 
Yes, exactly, and I'm questioning why Ross thinks the QG18 in the N16 has a turbo...

Pretty obvious it's the QG18 that's the context.
 
No mate :), internet doesnt convey tone so not sure why u think I'm being snappy. :lol: Just read the posts properly in future! I thought it was only Eddie that didnt read posts :p
