hi everyone I'm brand new here. i have a 1.8 almera sport+ which i am doing up. Just done the timing chain and starter motor so she now runs like a dream. Be good to chat with people who have the same cars :)
 
Welcome to the club mate :-) looks like you've made a good start changing the timing chain on the engine! Hopefully we can help with anything you want to know about maintenance and/tuning.

thank you. yeah the chain was stretched so engine management light was on. since chain change light has been off and she runs beautiful !!!!
 
yeah so iv found. usually shows as a sensor fault I'm noticing. mine had power loss jump rev gauge and jumpy when driving in low gears until engine warm!

N16 are taking over... but at least we have Sr20's... ;)

But even n16 are starting to get them surgically installed ;)
