hows everyone today?

im looking for some advice,

what size speakers are installed on a 2000 1.8 sport 3rd? as i want to replace them, but am unsure on what size to order?

i believe the fronts are 6.5? and the rears are 5x7s?

i was also wondering, if they are correct, do 6x9s fit in the back?

Fronts are 6.5", but you'll need a speaker adapter for a Vauxhall Corsa or Astra. Rears are 6x4".

I don't think there's space, not unless you cut the parcel shelf.

Yep definatly a parcel shelf job. I put a connector block hidden in the boot side carpet so the parcel shelf can be removed, if need be.

You might be able to squeeze a 5.25" speaker in, I can't remember what it looks like under the speaker mount on an N16. I seem to remember my friend was going to put some in but in the end it was much easier to put 6x4" speakers in, because the mounts were the same. Some form of custom plate would be needed for anything else, and it probably won't be worth it.

ok guys, thanks for your help, i guess ill have to bodge something up, im not a fan of speakers on the shelf, so ill be sticking with my 6x4s til i think of something!
