hi everyone. I've been a member for a couple of weeks and thought it time to say hello. I've got a 1998 ph1 gti in a dark green metallic(not sure of name). it's got 114k on the clock. the body work showing no rust on arch's or in the boot but the bumper and body kit need respraying. the only thing that been do to the engine is a ss 4-2-1 manifold. I'll save and get paint work done then think what to do with engine and suspension. when I get time to I'll take some picture and put them up on here. thanks Dan

p.s any members in Shropshire/Powys area?
 
Welcome to the AOC Dan.

The name of the colour is Loden Green & is rather rare on a GTi now, as a few loden GTis were written off in 1 year a while back, so look after it, as there`s not many about now.

oh I think you'll be hearing a lot more off me:D hopefully the weather will been nice, I'll take a few pictures and put my car up in members rides and tell you all my plans for the car. thanks Fred for the name of the colour of the car. I travelled 140 miles just to get one in this colour.:)
