kieran Mar 14, 2009 #1 What does this one do? its behind the headlight and runs across infront of the radiator? Im guessing power steering, as its just burst and caused a big puddle and now im developing arms like hulk hogan trying to get anywhere. Ohwell...saves going to the gym

kieran Mar 14, 2009 #5 thats the one, how easy is it to replace? looks like just a clip either end? assuming thats where its leaking and not the rubber hoses.

F Fred Mar 14, 2009 #6 Yeah, 2 bolts on the crossbeam, then the 2 hose calmps. It`s more than likely that either a clamp has rusted through, or the rubber hose has perished. AFAIK, it`s very rare to find the actual loop damaged.

kieran Mar 14, 2009 #7 fingers crossed on the rusty clamp idea then, cant be bothered replacing hoses cheers fred.
F Fred Mar 14, 2009 #8 They usually go under the clamp tbh, so just cut the knackered end off & refit.

Indicators & Grille off, Bumper off, undo leaking hose, cut off knackered piece of pipe, re-attatch hose clamp, refit bumper, job done! Shouldn`t take more than 30 mins all in, one of the easiest & quickest jobs to do on an N15!
