how low can i go?

I've got the Joy Tuning front bumper and skirts and ASP rear bumper, all to be fitted. I will also be getting the Ksport coilovers from the GB, how low will I be able to go? Will the wheels site nicely in the arches? (17"s). I'm hoping to fit the coilovers myself with the help of a few friends. Is it a simple job? Can they be adjusted easily (I have tried searching but cant find information on these specific coilovers). Any help will be much appreciated... thanks in advance

You`ll be able to go at least 70mm lower without any problems. The 17`s will fill the gaps nicely.

Fairly simple job. The ride height can adjusted with them on the car as can the dampening ( stiffness )....they`ll have a knob ontop of the damper.

Best to get your tracking adjusted after fitting.

Oh.....and start on a middle height setting then adjust from there.

ermm i think a 70 drop with the joy tuning front bumper is rather low, m8 had his lowered 35 with the JT kit and it looked good, not too low, but experiment with the coilovers.

just on this topic, when your adjusting the ride height, how do you guys measure both sides as so to ensure that one is not set a slight be higher or lower than the other?

I have the joytuning side skirts, front bumper and asp rear. Im lowered around 60-70mm and I cant go into most car parks because the bumber scrubs. Some speed ramps are to large to go over. Thinkin of raising it a bit because i can basically go knowhere without the front underside of the bumper scrubbing on the road (bad bumps). Have to nearly drive at 40mph everywhere. Just a we word to let you know.

ok mate thanks for your input i'll have to experiment. I like your car as well thats the kind of look i'm going to try and get.

While we're on this topic, how low have people gone running on the standard 15"s? i want to go as low as possible, even if it means removing the front splitter but i dont want to to restrict my driving! anyone got any input? i know about 70mm works on 17"s but with smaller wheels this will make the car even lower to the ground, Its just trial and error at the end of the day but if i had an idea where to start it'd be a bonus!

Mine wouldnt roll on 15's mate, I'd say ur looking at about 50mm, maybe a little more on std 15's before you start having issues.

rowdys has gone about 60mm ish on his 15s i think but im sure he will confirm what it is later.

mine has gone 40mm on springs over the 15s n id say theres easy scope to go at least another 20mm

17"s (205/40/17) have the same rolling radius as 15"s (195/55/15) give or take a couple of mm depending on the tyre manufacturer's
