How much HP?

Hey mates, i was just wanting to know how much horse power a standard SRi has, and how much a standard GTi has? Also what are the best performance mods to start with and how much they increase the hp by? :D
 
Almera SRi GA16DE is a 1.6L (1597cc) approx 98hp standard.
Almera GTi SR20DE is a 2.0L (1998cc) approx 138hp standard.

best mod to start with performance wise should be induction kit, headers, manifold, de-cat etc. i hope this helps.

Don't mean to be pedantic but the GTi comes with 143 bhp as standard although Parkers Quotes it at 140. Every hp counts ;)

With the mods listed in my signature I made 134 WHP (157 bhp), which serves as a rough guide to what you can achieve with carefully selected breathing mods. Bear in mind I was running with the CAT still in place on this run.
 
Cheers for that mates, As for the mods you pointed out i only know what an induction kit is and i always thought that they actually decreased power but made a cool noise! :O
 
The point about breathing mods helping the SR20 is also true of the GA16 (in the SRi) it has a stupidly constrictive exhaust system and free's up quite a lot of performance from just an appropriate air filter and a nice exhaust, cant wait to get my manifold and have the air intake/exhaust system finished completely.
