Well in the golden olden days you use to feed rev counters with a wire off the points, but with todays modern ECU's and multi coil packs god only knows where you take the trigger from ?

Might be on to something there as the N16 gets it's signal from the ABS rings too which no doubt go through and out the ECU as data rather than analogue signal. Guessing though...

Thats the thing with these modern motahs, a lot of it is all digital.

BaddiP's rev counter lights up nicely though /corbs/

why?

Its the blue/orange wire that goes into the speedo. Cant remember which plug (white or brown) though.

Are you getting speed sensing mixed with engine RPM?

The RPM won't be read from the ABS ring :?

....Phone....

Right, in that case then locate the 2 interior loom connectors that are behind the glovebox. 1 white and 1 brown.

It should be pin 6 on the white plug. Bear in mind this info is for a 2002 phase 1, so may differ to yours.

I tried to plug in to blue/orange behind glovbox and got just little signal didn't went over 2000rpm but i rev the car to 7000 rpm what do i do :/
