probally a silly question to ask but how do i remove the n15 door handles.

removing the 2 bolts was easy but i cant see how to remove the metal rod that joins to the handle - mainly cos i cant see how it connects.

haynes dont do a manual for the almera gti,

Is it worth getting the one that covers the 1.4 and 1.6 ??? Will this cover most repairs you may need to do bar the engine?

I have the Haynes manual for the almera. It does cover things like ripping the interior apart so I'm pretty sure it will document how to remove the door handles.

I will be able to have a look tonight and post if no-one gives you an answer today Dan.

it's a tricky little bast to get out it kinda hooks around a plastic clip so dont force it or you'll snap the clip. its hard to explain in words :o

hmmm i'll try again...
the bar from the handles is a kinda Z shape at the end & slots through a plastic cup type clip. you have to slide the bar out of the clip by moving it around while being carefull not to brake the clip. the first time i did it by removing the door locking catch so that i could get more access but the other side i managed to get out loads easyer. i think all that makes sense ! :o

I can understand what your talking about Mick, but i have removed them before.

I still think it's kinda hard to follow though if you haven't done it before, but can't think how to explain it easier or better
