Heeeeellooooo!

I've bought myself an R reg GTi and thought I better get on here and introduce myself!

Previously I've owned 3 Vauxhall Calibra's - but have decided to part with my latest 1 and plumped for an Almera.

Impressed so far.

Thought I'd better sign up - gonna need your folks help sooner or later lol
 
Welcome along. Ive driven a calibra n/a. The almera is soooo much better. Get some pics up mate in the members rides section ;)

That looks pretty clean. Only one thing, if i may, change the rear wiper to a punto one(search). Will make it nice and smooth.

I'm new to the Almera stuff so any tips much appreciated.

I generally got to know Calibra's pretty well..... hope I can do the same with this beaut.

Had it 2 days.

Almera instantly feels a lot sturdier than the Calibra and i'm definately coming round to it's looks!
 
Yeah 'punto mod' and some standard gti wheels, maybe in black, would look really good. The ones on it are slightly dated imo thats all. Shaggy_Master on here is selling some black ph1 sideskirts if you thought about some kit.
 
it's gotta 4.5" back box (not full system) which is a bit loud for my liking

Lowered to 35mm

Wheels aren't great - but are 17's and will do for now.

Yeah i de-badged my 1.4, looked good for a couple of months but then i just wanted them back on:lol: Needless to say they are staying on the Gti. Any plans for it?
 
:welcome: monkey boy. Get your dues paid and you will have access to a huge swathe of useful info.

Watch out for the sense of humour on here though, some of them like to play rough. Bloody keyboard warriors, eh! ;)
