Anybody know where I can get the 8mm screws that you can fasten the sides of the HU to the car to prevent theft? Even Halfrauds don't sell them??

I think its best to let them take ur head unit

my uncle had a Nissan QX once and some dumb ass tried to take the head unit out and F@ked up his dash.

Pointless to this thead but i just found out the QX uses the SR20DE engine :)

that engine is popular :)
 
The Dash is not cheap on its own if u was to buy it its a bit of a job to fit as well u need to take the dash off and then i think u got to take the chassi off and then bolt on the radio and then put the chassi back and then the dash back on. there is a easy idea is get a alarm and then put a siern inside the car it will make sure your death if you try and steal your car
 
I eventually found these but not from where you'd expect.
Take out the plastic drawer below the heating/AC controls and you have 4 screws holding the plastic drawer to the metal bracket on the sides, take these screws off and you have a perfect fit to secure your HU to the car, Eureka!
It's also a bit of a b*tch to screw your HU to the car even with the dashboard off! Access is severly restricted, it's good I don't have fat fingers lol!
 
I thought the picture for the N15 was like a European version but whoever posted it online has seem to have placed it horizontally reversed??

Lol your right lol I just noticed that I have not used this site in ages its good because they show you how to open the dash up.
