Hi all! Stu from Fife here.

I have a wee problem. I drive an Almera Tino 1.8. Last week, my off side headlight went, and yesterday morning (at 5 o'clock!) the other one went!!! Great.

Anyway, I headed to Halfords today and bought 2 of those 90% brighter effort bulbs. Buy one get one free. Happy days. Got home and put in the new ones. (half a bloody hour on the drivers side!) Started up the car, put on the lights. Nowt. Side lights only. All other lights on and inside the car work fine. Checked the fuses under the steering wheel, and the big fellas beside the battery and they are all fine.

Anyone any ideas?
 
Hiya Ross. I'm in Rosyth. The plugs as in the brown and white wire? I did try them both ways. It's a pain in the jeer, as I drive along the M9 every morning. Cannie with no lights!

ah right, you've probably seen my almera around :P

just make sure the electrical plugs are pushed in until they click. they can be pushed together but not properly connected if you get me. just might need a bit of force to push them together.

if the fuses are fine, might be a problem with the bulbs, although that would be unlikely if it is two at the same time.
