Idle RPM?

When I first got my n15 diesel, it was idling about 700 rpm, but now its closer to 950 rpm, should this give me any cause for concern and do you know any probable causes? thanks guys.

i know my Gti should idle at approx 750, check your hand book for your engine/car and it should tell you the correct idle speed.
as for possiable causes im not to sure sorry.

cant see it doing much exept using more fuel, try cleaning your throttle body if a diesel got one, and look for sticky throttle cable

depends on a few things like how hot the engine is and any electrics going on having the blower on will use it elec windows will etc
