i'm all new, coming complete with an almera

hey there y'all.

i passed my test a couple of months back, and daddy kindly gave me his 94 N-reg Nissan Almera 1.4 Si. its kinda a citrus green yellow colour, i dont know what you call it

seeing as it belonged to the old man, its been well looked after, it only has 74,000 on the clock, and dad has done a couple of things to the exterior, namely some almera strips along the sides at the bottoms of the doors, and some 14" or 15" 5 spoke alloys. not the best alloys, but better than stock rims.

its got the spoiler, perfect condition throughout, after months of contemplating changing, ive decided i wanna ya know, mod it a little, does anyone have any tips? what i should go for first? not to worried about the engine, as im not a boy racer, i just want it to look smooth.

94??? i thought they started production in second half of 95, mines an "N" reg and its a 96 model... anyway get some larger rims first they do set the car off... what are almera strips???

he prob meant 95. colour code the rear black strip on the tail gate above the number plate. get some clear repeaters and de-badge it.

i'll post pics when i have actually cleaned the thing! basically the strips are running from the front wheel arch to the rear, adhesive graphic shop stuff, basically gold and black stripes with nissan almera overlain. they were to originally cover a small dent in one of the doors near the base, but they end up looking pretty neat.

as for rims, yeah, i was already thinking of that, the 14 or 15s are ok, but those arches sure look big enough to take something bigger... does anyone know what kinda size? also gonna try and possibly get body coloured mirrors, i know its lame, but its gotta be a start right?

that car looks mint... get bigger rims, and debadge the rear, tints are a cheap and effective mod aswell, and a new big bore exhaust maybe for a louder roar(it turns heads)

yeah def wanna go for larger rims, but how big should i go, should i change springs etc? i'm so new to this its really pathetic, so apologies for all the questions! would like a bigger exhaust, not really worried about the noise, but if it looks good i'm game!

think i'll peel the si sticker off, as well as cartman who adorns the rear window, but i think i'll use gold plate renewal on the badges, cos they were on it when we got it. gold palted nissan badges, or gold plate imatation! haha

at least then its got some interest to regualr market sitters should i wish to sell!
