Indicators and break calipers

I'm going o deglobe my front indicators and was wondering what the best way to do the side indicators is...can you deglobe them too or is it just easier to buy the clear ones off ebay for piss cheap?

Also, want to spray by break calipers blue, to match the car and was wondering what the best way to do it is or the best products to use are!
Thanks a mill.....keith.

if its the side repeaters your on about, they are orange lenses so you got to change them for clear, buy some silver bulbs that flash orange and the look is complete.
give the calipers a good going over with a wire brush and buy some caliper paint or hammerite.

seen a set of calipers the other day

a guy had bench polished them so they were smooth etc

then used high temp radiator (as in household radiator) spray - gave them a glassed chrome look

looked the dogs they did

especially if through a set of black rims!

front side indicators - boil kettle and drop the lens in a bowl add hot water to submerge them

leave for approx 2-4 minutes
then prize the lens from the back plate

pop the orange lens out and them push the lens cover back on (or spray the internal (not the actual dished reflection section) but the outer section black and them put the case back on

side ones you cant de-globe just replace or tint spray them black

Cheers lads! pain in the bollox ta get the calipers done properly witout a ramp....have to let them dry etc...
Nice tips tho, cheers.

Dont get ripped off in halfrauds by the 'caliper' paint all the kids go running for. Its the same stuff as engine laquer etc and theres about £5 difference iirc.
Try to get the calipers as smooth and clean as poss as it will affect the outcome massively!
Bench polisher as quickdraw said is probably the best bet, unless you can afford to strip them down to bare bollox in which case, sand/bead blast them.
