Install of a new radio

Hi,

This is my first post and have been reading the forums for a bit and thought I would join.

Basically, I want to install a new CD player into my X Reg Almera S 1.5.

I can get the bottom part off (underneath the heat/air con controls to reveal the two screws on the left and right of the plastic facia which covers the factory radio but it will not come off. Any suggesstions? And once the plastic facia is off will I need to know anything else?

Open the cubby hole above the hazards switch and pull it forward, you can now get to the top 2 screws for the radio.

Do you mean the storage compartment above the hazards. Pull it foward??
 
Yeah thats the one, just be carefull when you pull it forward as there is not much cable for the hazard switch.
