Interior Differences

Hey all,

What are the differences between an Si interior and a GTi interior? Is it just the colour and pattern?

Also, any difference between P1 & P2 Interiors?

Pretty much just the colour etc, although some say the GTi seats are more supportive.
GTi and SRi interiors are the same between phases but Phase 2a and some P2s came with airbags in the seats.
 
the Si, SRi and GTi use the same "sports" front seats, the other models dont, as for interior parts, i believe they're the same
 
is it the phase 2 SRi that comes with the leather steering wheel?

My mates p1 Si did not have rear headrests, my sri and gtis come with rear headrests
 
Can't remember what headrests I have...

I have an P1 Si, came with a standard steering wheel but I took it off and put a leather GTi one on :D

I'm hating the colour/pattern on the Si interior at the mo, gonna retrim the door panels in leather/suede, but don't wanna retrim the seats anymore, so was thinking about the darker GTi seats... getting worried its gonna look like i'm trying to mimic a GTi tho :O
 
I like my Si interior pattern. think I got lucky tho, it's the only factory trim (apart from leather) I like, so it's just as well I have it.
 
mate seriously your lucky you dont have a lower spec almera, the seats look like vomit and i aint jokin!

My Si had totally differen't seats in them, to my GTi.

The GTi seats are a lot more supportive. And the Si has a gash pattern.
 
i remember gynx was happy that he had the sports seats in his Si. I looked at a 1.4 GX (Active) today and the interior was different, was P1 as well
 
MY driver seat was fooked so i got another out of a Phase 2 GTi (No airbag) about a year ago and my mate mentioend to me yesterday that my head reast is different to passenger side one. Same pattern and that so the P2's have different head rests!
 
Will try and take a couple of pics of mine, was hoovering the back today and realised that the back seats actually look v. supportive, so guessing they're same shape as GTi ones.

Back seats are the same just diff pattern.

Took a wee picture while I was waiting to pick up the missus... GTi or not?

Got two people offering to sell me GTi Interior so after I get paid think i'm gonna go for it :D
