hello,
i hate the interior of my car, and would love to change it.
just wondering if anyone has tryed this, and could give me some tips, i dont really wanna go halfords buy a seat cover set, n fit it, then there b tacky creases, or anything, has anyone found seat covers that fit really well?

also, id like to make the fabric in the door cards black. is there any way to get just the fabric out? or any way anyone has done thats worked well.

any tips handy!

just put some lovely 17" wolf races on my Si, ill put some pics up when i next clean it!

cheers

Seat covers are shit. So your right in thinking you'll get creases. Not sure on Si doorpanels but the centre cloth parts on on my Sri (Gti aswell) door panels is removeable. Anyone got a pic of an Si door panel?

yeh i fitted seat covers to my old car, and no matter how well i tryed to do them, taking the seat out the car, sewing them in etc, i could never quite get it too look good, or natural, always coming away from custions where too tight, n creses.

just wondered if there was a nissan almera seat cover set, made for the seats, not a universal one.

also, my center cloth parts, dont wanna pop off, seems like im breaking it lol. with yours did you just get a flat head screw driver stick it under, and pull up?

cheers
ill get a pic asap, but i think there the same

Are they? I thought they were glued.
Mine is a Ph1 N16. I think MINE are glued?

Yeah i'm doing the door cards myself, thats pretty simple, the cloth is just glued on. You can either take it off, or if you have some good glue you could try sticking the new material over the top, and carefully gluing the ends of the new material into the groove (am i making any sense here?!). Give me a shout if you need more help with that.

Regarding the interior, my dads helping me out with that one (thats his job!). I think your best bet would be to get an upholsterer to do the job if you want it doing well, tricks of the trade and all that! Not sure how much it'll cost you though, depends what material you're wanting to use.
