Is this a good price?

Just rang a guy about getting the dampers and springs off his car that he's breaking...

For all four dampers (the rear ones are only 2 months old) and a full set of PI lowering springs, he wants £90. Think I could get them for £80 as I'm collecting though.

Do you think this is a good price? i think it's pretty good seeing as the rear shock are worth about £120 on their own!

edit: he defintely wants £90 as the springs are only 6 months old.
 
It's pretty cheap (PI springs alone are about £110 new) - obviously whether it's value-for money or not in this case depends on the make of the shocks and the condition of shocks & springs.
 
well i think they'll be ok, I mean the springs are only 6 months old and the rear dampers are only 2 months old. He doesn't know how old the front ones are, but I can check for leakage and stuff before I pay :)
 
there was some on here a few months back that sound like the ones your after, cant remember exactly what was up with them but i remember seeing pictures of them and they didnt match the description, could be fine but just be careful, cant for the live of me remember what was up with them now though, sure one damper was knackered or something like that, seem to remember them looking alot older than they apparantly were aswell
